９月３日～２９日に東京・有楽町の帝国劇場で上演される亀梨和也主演の舞台「ＤＲＥＡＭ ＢＯＹＳ」の制作発表が行われた。
若者の夢と挫折、友情をアクロバットやボクシングを交えてダイナミックに描く。２００４年の初演以来、ジャニーズ事務所の人気者が演じ継いできた。今回はＨｅｙ！Ｓａｙ！ＪＵＭＰの八乙女光、Ｋｉｓ―Ｍｙ―Ｆｔ２の玉森裕太、千賀健永、宮田俊哉が参加する。初演以来、出演を続ける亀梨は「初めて自分が一番年上になった。小さい頃から知っているメンバーと物を作るので、どうなるか楽しみにしてください」と語った。
昨年の公演で亀梨は、中国の雑技団直伝の５メートルの高さから降下する大回転技を始め、難度の高いフライング技を披露した。「自分に負荷をかける 意識は全くない。かっこいいと思う事に打ち込むことは努力と思いません」と話す。今年の舞台では「全員が持っている必殺技をぶつけ合いたい」と力を込め た。
各自の必殺技を問われると、八乙女はベース演奏、千賀はダンス、宮田はお笑いを挙げ、玉森は「５人にしか出せないカラー」と総合力を強調した。
